In order to cultivate school wide enthusiasm for targeted, accountable independent reading, while at the same time encouraging students at all reading levels to strive for 100% on every A/R quiz, we instituted a weekly raffle where students fill out an entry form on every 100% they receive on quizzes. Then, every Friday afternoon we draw anumber of names from the raffle drum and award the winning students with the new book of their choice from our donated collection.
