Struggling students typically don't improve their reading skills by sitting at a computer to receive instruction. Success is achieved by developing a relationship between a small group of students, the teacher, and great literature. Once established, students can then learn to read for purpose, apply comprehension strategies, and build their vocabularies through the teacher-led instruction that is based on the literature they are expected to do together.
