What's New in Accelerated Math
Renaissance Place 3.4

The primary focus for the Accelerated Math™ Renaissance Place™ 3.4 version is to improve the initial setup of Accelerated Math for new and existing users.

Automatically created objective lists
Starting with version 3.4, Accelerated Math will automatically create an objective list for each library you install. These lists will be for a single library and will contain all of the objectives for that library in the default objective order. They will be available for anyone at the school to use, however only District Administrators or users with that capability will be able to change these lists.

Objective list selection in the Assignment Book
In previous versions of Accelerated Math, if you were a new teacher and you went to your Assignment Books for the first time, you were shown a link at the top of the Assignment Book asking you to Add Objectives.

Old version of the Assignment Book

In Accelerated Math 3.4, when you go to your Assignment Books for the first time, the program will help to guide you to an objective list.

New version of the Assignment Book

If a grade has been set for the course and class, Accelerated Math will first list the automatically created objective list for that grade. Clicking on the name of the objective list will bring up the list of objectives and their order, so you can review the list before selecting it.

If you select An existing objective list, you will be taken directly to the page listing all of the available objective lists.

If you select New objective list that I will create, you will be taken through the steps of creating a new objective list.

Searching for objectives
In previous versions of Accelerated Math, you did not always notice the Search button when searching for objectives.

In Accelerated Math 3.4, the Search feature has been moved to the top of the page to help you find it easily when you want to search for objectives to add to your objective list.

In addition, the search feature now has the ability to search by state standard code. You can enter a state standard code and get a list of all objectives you have that meet that state standard, or you can use the Advanced Search to limit the libraries you wish to search.

Assignment Book
In order to help you better identify students who need intervention or those who do not have any assignments to work on, Accelerated Math 3.4 has added alerts for you in the assignment book.

If you select Print Assignments for all students with no work, you can select which type of assignment you want to print for those students and quickly get assignments to students who would otherwise be idle without work.
