Student Progress Monitoring

Accelerated Math is the only progress-monitoring tool reviewed by the National Center on Response to Intervention to be categorized as a mastery measurement tool. Its high marks confirm what teachers nationwide have said all along—Accelerated Math is truly in a class by itself. Accelerated Math also meets all National Center on Student Progress Monitoring criteria for scientifically based progress-monitoring tools.

Student Progress MonitoringNo Child Left Behind

STAR Early Literacy received the highest rating of all screening assessments and among the highest ratings of all progress-monitoring tools by the National Center on Response to Intervention. In addition, STAR Early Literacy meets all National Center on Student Progress Monitoring criteria for scientifically based progress-monitoring tools, the Reading First assessment requirements according to University of Oregon coding form, and Washington State's Reading First Criteria for progress-monitoring assessments in vocabulary and comprehension. STAR Early Literacy was also favorably reviewed by the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory and is on the Texas Commissioner's List of Reading Assessments.

STAR Math was among the highest-rated progress-monitoring tools reviewed in the General Outcomes Measurement category by the National Center on Response to Intervention, and meets all National Center on Student Progress Monitoring criteria for scientifically based progress-monitoring tools. (The review of STAR Math as a screening tool by the NCRTI is currently in process.)
