Preloaded on NEO 2, KeyWords helps you turn “hunt and peck” typists into “think and write” writers—fast. Unlike other typing programs based on 1950s typing instruction, Keywords uses language-based lessons presenting diverse vocabulary, rhymes, and humor to keep students engaged and interested.
With KeyWords, students learn common letter patterns that are the building blocks for simple and complex words. This promotes the ability to quickly recognize and type letter combinations that occur frequently.
KeyWords contains 106 total lessons for 15 levels. Each level includes lessons for key instruction, accuracy and speed builders, and four assessment tests to check students’ progress. Automatic scoring and detailed reports provide immediate feedback to teacher and students. KeyWords is also integrated with Renaissance Place so you can generate reports at the student, class, and school level.
