Carol M. Johnson, Ph.D., is a consultant living in Tucson, Arizona. Johnson has previously held adjunct faculty positions at the University of Arizona and Pima Community College where she taught English as a second language and French as foreign language, as well as linguistics and second language methodologies. Johnson’s experience raising a son with special needs led to her interest in how the brain learns second languages, culminating in the development of English in a Flash. In addition, Johnson speaks at conferences related to second language learning, including the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE), California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE), and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
