Jan Bryan, Ed.D., is vice president of implementation services for Renaissance Learning. Jan brings more than 20 years of classroom and university teaching experience to her position with Renaissance Learning. There, she is responsible for delivery of Professional Development and Program Management services, as well as the mentoring of field staff. Her presentations include professional development for campus and district leaders, as well as classroom teachers.
Prior to her work with Renaissance Learning, Bryan taught courses at the University of North Texas that included ESL-student literacy instruction, assessment, and instructional strategies using cross-cultural resources. There, she also coordinated the university's participation in the America Reads Challenge. At Texas Tech and Missouri State universities, Bryan taught content-area reading and children's literature courses. Bryan holds the Ed. D. in curriculum and instruction from Texas Tech University with emphasis in literacy development and educational psychology.
