What is the Texas Intensive Math Instruction Program?
This state-funded initiative assists qualifying districts in increasing the proficiency of their students in Grades 4–8 mathematics and algebra readiness. Funding will be $2.45 million for intensive math instruction programs
for eligible schools that have failed to improve student performance
in math. Applications
are due
to TEA by September 26, 2008.
