Recertification

Master Library Recertification
To recertify for Master Library you must maintain the same criteria as listed for Master Library for any 18-week period. The following documents must be submitted when recertifying for Master Library status:

  1. Librarian/Media Specialist Recertification Form -
    Model or Master
    .
  2. 18-week Certification Levels Report. (Summary page only at the end of the report) If your school uses your own certification levels, describe on your application form the criteria for each level and write the number of students who have certified at each level.*
  3. STAR Reading Growth Report (established readers) or STAR Early Literacy Growth Report (emergent readers) for pre- and post-tests taken at least 18 weeks apart. If the school does not use STAR software, please submit a Standardized Test Summary Chart or pre- and post-test Alternate Assessment Checklist.**

* Please submit one page per educator for the Certification Levels Report.
** Customize the schoolwide STAR reports as follows: Show Summary Only, Show Grade Equivalent, Do Not Group.
