CRITERIA
To certify for Master Library, you must maintain the following criteria in your library for any 18-week period.
- Obtain Model Library status.
- For established readers (grades 3 and up), school shows overall improvement in Percentile Rank and Normal Curve Equivalent on STAR Reading or on another standardized test.
- For emergent readers, school shows overall improvement in Scaled Score on STAR Early Literacy or on another standardized test.
- Ensure AR books are integrated across the curriculum.
- Ensure book and quiz collections support reading needs of teachers and students.
- Use reader certification levels.
- Motivate student reading through other activities.
