To certify for Summer School Math you must maintain the following criteria in one classroom over the summer months (time period length may vary).
Implement Accelerated Math Best Practices as identified by the techniques listed on the Classroom Checklist.
Achieve 100% of expected objectives. (Expected objectives is defined as averaging two objectives per week in grades 1 and 2, or four objectives per week for grades 3 and up.)
Maintain no more than 10% of students averaging less than half the median of objectives mastered in the Total Test Column
(M code).
Maintain no more than 10% of students averaging less than 85% correct in the Regular Test column (T code). If only Diagnostic Tests are used and there is no Regular Test data, maintain no more than 10% of students averaging less than 85% in the Total Tests column.
