Math - Summer School



CRITERIA

  • To certify for Summer School Math you must maintain the following criteria in one classroom over the summer months (time period length may vary).
  • Implement Accelerated Math Best Practices as identified by the techniques listed on the Classroom Checklist.
  • Achieve 100% of expected objectives. (Expected objectives is defined as averaging two objectives per week in grades 1 and 2, or four objectives per week for grades 3 and up.)
  • Maintain no more than 10% of students averaging less than half the median of objectives mastered in the Total Test Column
    (M code).
  • Maintain no more than 10% of students averaging less than 85% correct in the Regular Test column (T code). If only Diagnostic Tests are used and there is no Regular Test data, maintain no more than 10% of students averaging less than 85% in the Total Tests column.
