CRITERIA
To certify for Master School you must maintain the following criteria in the school for any 18-week period:
- Obtain Model School status.
- Implement Accelerated Math Best Practices throughout the school as identified by the techniques listed on the .
- Achieve 100% of expected objectives. (Expected objectives is defined as averaging two objectives per week in grades 1 and 2, or four objectives per week for grades 3 and up.)
- High schools using block scheduling use weekly goals multiplied by the number of weeks in your block schedule, multiplied by the number of students in the school, to figure expected objectives goal.
- Maintain no more than 20% of students “at risk," with a 'T' code (averaging less than 85% in the Regular Test column) on the Schoolwide Diagnostic Report.
- Maintain no more than 20% of students with an "M" code (averaging less than half the median objectives mastered) on the Schoolwide Diagnostic Report.
- Set and monitor goals.
- Successfully complete one of the following:
- Implementation Coaching.
- Custom Webinar Attendance.
- Pre-approved training.
- Renaissance Symposium Attendance.
- Regional or Custom Seminar Attendance.
- Training of Trainers (Regional or Custom) Attendance.
- On-Demand Session Attendance.
- School demonstrates improvement in the Percentile Rank and Normal Curve Equivalent between pre- and post-tests of STAR Math or other standardized test taken at least 18 weeks apart.
